Manager - Quality Assurance - Seed Technology (5-10 yrs)
Position :
To Plan and coordinate the activities of the Seed technologies, in order to follow Customer order requests and Production arrivals and stock in the Ware house.
Job Synopsis :
Designation/Title : Manager - Quality Assurance
Experience : 5 years plus
Location : Bangalore
Reporting To : Chief Executive Officer
Education : Master's degree in Seed Technology
Operational activities :
- Realize technical operations as film coating, disinfections, sizing, cleaning and priming
- Follow and design all tests carefully to meet our internal rules and conform to international standards. Knowledge of ISTA rules will be an advantage
- Bring his/her technical expertise in case of an issue on the lot. Ability to detect seed quality problems and assign reasons
- Manage consumables linked to Seed Technologies activities
Profile :
- A good knowledge of seed technologies is essential besides having a good understanding of seed physiology.
- Organisation and communication abilities, as well as flexibility are required for this position.
- Good capacity to work with and supervise a team.
- Knowledge of an ERP would be a plus.
- Knowledge and experience in a wide range of crops especially vegetable seeds will be an advantage.
