Manager - Quality Control & Assurance - Valve Manufacturing (10-12 yrs)
Job Summary:
Overseeing and managing all aspects of quality control and assurance to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements through optimal processes supported by a robust problem-solving culture.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement stage-wise quality control processes, procedures, and standards for the manufacturing of control valves.
- Improve and sustain a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Ensure timely availability of documents required by the customers.
- Improve product and process quality through a systematic data collection, analysis and monitoring of CAPA implementation.
- Streamline incoming inspection, in process inspection and Final inspection.
- Poster a culture of quality and continuous improvement through creating clear standards, training and building problem solving skills across the organisation.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints, non-conformities, and quality issues by conducting root cause analysis.
Desired Profile:
- Engineering Graduate with 10-15 years experience in valve manufacturing.
- Proven experience in quality assurance and control.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and specifications.
- Strong understanding of problem-solving methodology and statistical tools.
- Exposure to Machining, assembly and testing.
