URGENT opening for a Leading FMCG Company.
Designation : Manager - Raw Material Procurement
Location : Mumbai
JOB DESCRIPTION (Describe key result areas / main job functions)
- Timely supplies of right quality RM to all units, planning, and execution as per business requirement.
- Raising RFQ to vendors, getting offers, Negotiating & finalizing of Rates with vendors, based on cost, feedstock movement & international Price movement.
- Updation of all RM prices in system & timely order placement.
- Maintaining Inventory Norms days as per A, B, C classification of Inventory. Reduction of Non-Moving & Slow Moving in RM by way of transfers, consumptions or sale of unusable / damage RM from the system.
- Monitoring the Share of Business (SOB) as per approval.
- Preparing periodic MIS. Highlight Exception in supply & Inventory for the division.
- An effort to reduce the cost base of materials through optimal allocation of SOB, Initiating vendor development, eliminating single sourcing..etc
SPECIFIC CANDIDATE PROFILE (Key competence/attributes needed for the role)
a) Excellent Analytical & Negotiation Skills
b) Good Communication in Local Language & English
C) Knowledge of SAP is a must and must have high proficiency in MS office
d) Experience in Pigment, Chemical (Textile & Leather ) would be preferred
