Manager - R&D - Process Improvement (10-12 yrs)
Position - R&D- Manager (Process Improvement)
Designation - Manager
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Process improvement or a related role within the ferroalloy industry.
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering. A master's degree is preferred.
Report to Head - Quality Control.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough analyses of current production processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
2. Design and develop optimized processes that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, maintenance, and engineering.
4. Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvements.
5. Continuously review and refine processes based on performance data and feedback
6. Collect and analyse data related to production processes, efficiency, and quality.
7. Use statistical methods and software to identify trends and root causes of issues.
8. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
9. Work closely with other departments, including R&D, quality control, and procurement, to ensure alignment on process improvement goals.
10. Develop and implement R&D strategies and plans in alignment with the company's objectives.
11. Work with marketing and sales teams to understand market needs and translate them into product specifications.
Salary: Negotiable
