Position: Road Construction Manager

Location: Pune, India

Experience: Minimum 9-15 years of experience in Road & Infrastructure construction projects, with at least 5 years in managerial role.

Education: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Age: 29-36 Years

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced & results-driven Road Construction Manager to execute all aspects of road construction projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in road construction processes, calculation formulas & industry standards to ensure high-quality project delivery on time & within budget.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of road construction techniques, materials & equipment.

- Ability to handle multiple projects & meet tight deadlines.

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

- Sound understanding of construction laws, safety standards & local regulations.

- Excellent leadership, organizational & communication skills.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Project Planning & Execution:

- Develop detailed daily plans, timelines, and budgets for road construction projects.

- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders for execution.

- Ensure compliance with project specifications, government regulations, and safety protocols.

2. Team Leadership:

- Supervise and guide construction teams, subcontractors, and laborers on-site.

- Foster effective communication and collaboration among project teams to ensure smooth progress.

- Conduct regular site meetings to assess progress and address issues.

3. Resource Management:

- Oversee procurement and allocation of materials, equipment, and workforce.

- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely deliveries.

4. Quality Control:

- Ensure adherence to quality standards during all stages of construction.

- Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective measures where necessary.

5. Risk Management & Problem Solving:

- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.

- Resolve any on-site challenges, disputes, or technical issues efficiently.

6. Reporting & Documentation:

- Prepare and present progress reports, budgets, and updates to senior management and stakeholders.

- Maintain accurate records of project details, expenses, and compliance documentation.
