Role & responsibilities
Pre-Bid Design:
Prepare the Technical Abstract.
- Prepare technical quarries.
- Develop tower & Foundation design and drawings require in the tender submission.
- Review the tower and foundation designs & getting approval from Client.
Execution of Contract:
Prepare the design calculation of the structure and foundation for the Towers
- Preparation of sag tension calculation
- Develop final key line for the Transmission tower structure
- Develop foundation drawings for Tower structure
- Review the detail structural and fabrication drawing prepared by the draftsman
- Review the vendor drawings of the all the transmission bought out items for compatibility with Tower structures.
- Knowledge of civil engineering- Particularly basic knowledge of execution of transmission projects, various techniques etc
- Working knowledge of
- PLS, tower and CAAD
- itower
- AutoCAD
- Knowledge of design Codes
- EN /BS codes
- IEC /IS codes
- ACI/ASCE codes
- South African codes
- DIN codes.
