Manager/Senior Manager - Contract/Claims & Administration - Real Estate (8-15 yrs)
QUALIFICATIONS: B. Tech - Civil.
EXPERIENCE: 8-15 years of relevant experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Review tender documents (BOQ, drawings, Specs, Conditions of Contract).
- Identify and highlight risk clauses or ambiguous terms.
- Confirm scope of work is clearly defined.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and clarifications. (If required)
- Review insurance, indemnity, and warranty requirements.
- Ensure contract terms are aligned with internal policies.
- Assist in negotiations and finalization of terms.
- Draft and review LOI/LOA, contract agreement, and appendices.
- Check Contract document as per Tender in all respect
- Ensure Mob. Advance, BG, and insurances are in place. Finalise CG/BG as per company requirement
- Confirm site possession and approvals received.
- Set up contract administration folder/document control system.
- Record all variation/change orders.
- Submit cost/time implications for each variation.
- Track approvals and update contract value.
- Monitor project progress and identify delays.
- Issue timely notices of delay/force majeure as per contract.
- Prepare EOT (Extension of Time) claims with substantiation.
- Maintain evidence for any claims or disputes.
