Manager/Senior Manager - Logistics - Steel Manufacturing Firm (10-15 yrs)
We are hiring Logistics Manager for Renowned Steel Manufacturing Company in Hyderabad.
Post: Manager/ Sr. Manager - Logistics
Qualification: MBA or B.Tech
Experience : 10 - 15 years in Inbound - Outbound Logistics.
Salary: Negotiable as per skills & experience.
Job location: Hyderabad & Nellore
Role & Responsibilities :
- Inbound - Outbound logistics, Fleet Management, Vendor Management, Cost cutting, Cost Analysis, Rail, Road & Exim Logistics etc.
- Optimize the Logistics cost through effective route planning & optimum freight utilization.
- Planning and managing Logistics, Rail, Road & Exim Logistics.
- Responsible for monthly stock reconciliation, and coordinating with the Inventory, Purchase & Procurement department.
- Liaison with Railways senior authorities (Operating & Commercial) to ensure timely dispatches.
- Follow-up with the Transportation vendors for the orders to get executed.
- Keep Track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
- Should have good knowledge of ERP & SAP.
- Candidate preferred from Steel Manufacturing background.
Joining with in 15 - 30 days preferred.
