Job Requirements : B.Tech/M.E./B.E./MSc with Min. 10 years of experience in Paints Industry.

Job Purpose :

- Production Management of Paints, Resin and Powder Coating/Pre treatment Chemicals

- Responsibility of Technical, Quality and Cost effective Manufacturing of the Products. In addition, it also involves Plant and Process Safety, Health and Environmental activities related to the plant and person, Plant related IR and Cost effective plant operations.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Co Ordinate and manage pro-rata production on a day to day, block and monthly basis in efficient way, ensuring best utilization of production capacity, deployment of manpower and other resources.

2. Continuous improvement of processes as well as Technology in co ordination with the Quality control, Production Engineering and Technical Dept. to adhere and reduce batch cycle times, increase in yields, increase operational ease and ultimately leading to cost effective and timely production

3. Guiding a group of Officers and Workforce continuously to ensure product quality of international standards.

4. Ensure 100% adherence of the Safety, Health and Environment system of the plant concerning man and equipment.

5. Liaison with Commercial, Marketing and other relative functions on specific issues.

6. Update self with knowledge regarding product and process development through proper channel

7. Ensuring proper maintenance of all the norms as per the departmental operating procedures of ISO 9001/ IATF (International Automotive Task Force)

8. Guide shop floor personnel towards SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) and discipline and improve towards safe work culture, send them outside the organization for special training programmers to develop knowledge and better skills for improving shop floor activities. This ensures compliance of company statutory requirements.

9. Ensure that the discharge parameter of all the equipment in the plant are within the statutory limits and health and hygiene of the plant personnel is well maintained.

10. Adherence to PPE usage of the plant personnel and the Work Permit system is properly followed.

11. Training of the plant personnel on SHE/ MSDS of the Raw materials and finished products and other plant related activities.

12. Compliance to process safety and environment code of practice as per requirement of BSC.

13. Meeting pro-rata production targets with quality, day to day, weekly and monthly basis.

14. Maintain discipline & better and safer work practice in the Plant. Safety and Environment is a primary accountability which takes priority over the production. Meeting compliance on all the emissions of the plant and ensuring the best of the safety standard as per the norms set by Corporate.

15. Process development, closely coordinating with the Quality Control. Decrease of Batch Cycle time, increased cost benefit ratio of Paints, Resin and PCPT production, capacity utilization of men and equipment.

16. Cost control in operations by controlling the use of Utilities items and implementation of the same in the cost sheet of products ensuring better profitability in manufacturing each and every Paints, Resin and PCPT tuffs.

18. Guide a team of Executives, Officers and Operating personnel of the three Plants towards meeting production targets and goals set by Corporate Management

19. Solve technical and specific problems concerning process and marketing

20. Ensure all past statutory/operational/commercial audit observations are complied with
