Manager/senior Manager- Quality Assurance

Job purpose :

- To implement PAPL standards and ensure product quality and product safety across the value chain

- To drive the Quality Awareness culture across value chain

- To drive Quality goals/KRA's and achieve the set targets year on year.

- To identify, plan, document and manage the practices, activities and resources needed to meet quality Goals and objectives in manner that enables management to enable Quality performance

- To Implement PAPL quality standards for raw materials, packaging materials and finished products at all company owned plants and franchisee plants so as to adhere to PAPL guidelines/specification/requirements

- To drive the quality system across the manufacturing locations for conformance to specifications of the finished goods leaving the plant premises

- To monitor, assess and improve process capabilities across plants

- To carry out corrective actions for observations by HO- Quality audit across the value chain- plants, vendors -raw-materials, packaging materials

- Analyzing Quality Index based on market sample analysis results and drives CAP for the continual improvement of quality index with proper root cause analysis

- Implementation of Consumer response system mechanism, liaising with plant QA for resolution of consumer complaints

- To impart training to quality managers at the plant and executives in HO

- To select/recruit QA personnel at plant- HO based on evaluation of competencies

- Relevant knowledge in statutory standards and food laws laid by the concerned government bodies

- Applicable ISO Standards

- EMS

Qualifications : B.Sc or M.Sc in Chemistry/Bio chemistry/ Microbiology/ Technology
