SOURCING MANAGER - PUNE

Responsibilities :

- Direct management extends across teams in multiple locations and commonly multiple countries and regions

- Accountable for performance management, budget management, leadership and results associated with the strategic sourcing teams

- Drive continuous improvement, leading local teams or supply base performance improvements in the areas of quality, delivery and lead-time performance

- Ownership of supplier relationship management responsibilities including supplier discover, development, contract negotiation, and performance management aligned with global strategies

- Tactical purchasing responsibilities include leading local teams for supply base performance improvements in the areas of quality, delivery and lead-time performance

- Leads conformance to Global Supply Chain, Purchasing and Company policies, procedures, and practices

- Leads and supports lean manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives internally and with suppliers

- Accountable for deployment of global standardized processes and best practices

- Provides oversight and direct management of the regional Sourcing Supplier Manager, Supplier Quality Engineers, Supplier Development Engineers and PLC resources.

- Managing the interface between the strategic commodity teams and the local project integrated teams

- Ability to effectively manage in a matrixed organization

- Strong Commercial background, communication & Negotiation skills.

Travel :

- Travel will be required, both domestically and internationally

Education :

- Full time - MBA or BE : Bachelor degree in business or engineering
