Manager - Sourcing - Auto Component (3-12 yrs)
Experience : 3 - 12 Years
Location : Noida
Must-Have :
1) Sourcing skills and industry network - to establish a strong export-oriented supplier base supplier network.
2) Relevant 3 years of experience in auto component manufacturing ( Clients are Tractor manufacturers)
3) Cost negotiation and problem-solving skills
4) Good communication skills
5) Education/qualification: Mechanical Engineers.
Role Responsibilities :
1. Identifying metal fabrication suppliers for sourcing of casting/forging/machining parts.
2. Conducting supplier assessment as per export-related compliances
3. Carrying out the sourcing process including RFQ & technical review, cost negotiation, PO release for production
4. Day-to-day coordination with vendors for all RFQ requirements including technical queries from the client.
5. Submission of RFQ quotes with strict adherence to client timelines.
6. Working closely with suppliers for production capacity planning in line with program timing
7. Leading project meetings/audits with customers and vendors for periodic reviews and addressing commercial issues like timeline extension, closures of BG/LC etc.
8. Closure of disputes, if any, with vendors, as and when required
