Manager - Supply Chain & Asset Management - Solar PV (5-11 yrs)
- Own overall technical and commercial performance of assigned solar assets across multiple sites.
- Monitor plant KPIs including PR, CUF, availability, degradation, losses, and revenue.
- Lead centralized monitoring, performance engineering, and root cause analysis for underperforming assets.
- Develop and implement asset management strategies to improve generation, reduce downtime, and enhance reliability.
- Coordinate with O&M teams, OEMs, EPCs, and grid authorities for issue resolution and performance improvement.
- Ensure compliance with PPA, SLA, regulatory, and safety requirements.
- Review and approve maintenance plans, spares strategy, and AMC contracts.
- Conduct technical audits, site inspections, and performance benchmarking.
- Manage warranty claims, insurance cases, and major breakdown RCA.
- Oversee budgeting, OPEX optimization, and lifecycle cost management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for management and investors.
- Support digitalization, automation, and implementation of asset management systems (CMMS, SCADA, Analytics tools).
- Lead and mentor asset monitoring engineers and site performance teams.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in solar PV plant design, O&M, and performance engineering.
- Advanced understanding of SCADA, centralized monitoring, and data analytics.
- In-depth knowledge of KPIs: PR, CUF, availability, degradation, and energy losses.
- Experience with contract management, SLA enforcement, and vendor governance.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and asset management software.
