Duties & Responsibilities :

- Responsible for Testing & Commissioning and Handing over of MEP Systems which includes Air conditioning, Electrical Power Distribution, BMS, ELV Systems, Water supply majorly, Drainage & Fire Fighting.

- Duties include Review and commenting of :

1. Shop drawings, Schematics, Equipment layout and Piping & Ducting drawings.

2. MAS.

3. Installation Method Statements.

4. Commissioning Method Statement.

5. Commissioning schedule.

6. Test reports, O&M Manuals & Handing Over reports.

- To Co-ordinate and plan all Commissioning activities.

- To prepare a Commissioning strategy.

- Techno-commercial evaluation of Third-Party T&C, if required as per the Contract.

- To assist the Project construction team in raising TQs/RFIs/CVIs for all discrepancies and requirements of Commissioning.

- Attend Meetings with Clients and Consultants.

- Co-ordinate with Vendors, SC, NSC & DC.

- Raise Commissioning Inspection request for Consultant/Client and obtain approvals.

- Managing Central resource pool of Testing instruments & distributing to site as per requirement.

- Ensure Tools, testing equipment & instruments are calibrated and performing well.

Key Performance Indicators :

- Ensure completeness of the system before Commissioning and interact with the Construction team.

- To ensure all power & control requirements, all access & control valves, cleanouts etc requirements are in place.

- Must be able to prepare commissioning reports and analyse them for the fulfilment of Project requirements.

- Must be able to take corrective measures and suggest solutions for any issues with commissioning results.

Education & Experience :

- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering.

- Previous experience is preferable with at least 15 years in a Construction Company (Out of which 7 years in Gulf)

- Ideally having had exposure to Testing and Commissioning on a multiple building development and multi-disciplined team.

- Must be conversant with all International T&C codes & standards.

Skills & Competencies :

General :

- Good knowledge and understanding of the principles of construction.

- Experience in understanding the Manufacturer's Technical Data Sheet.

- IT skills - AutoCAD, MS Office.

- Update with recent industry technology development and awareness of various Standards.

Communications :

- Effective writing/reporting
