Manager - Tooling (8-16 yrs)
This role is a part of Production Engineering services team, working as Manager responsible for Tooling in manufacturing units of Vestas across the globe. Support International teams for - Production Engineering Services- by providing Engineering Design solutions for Tools & Equipment used and Drawings / Technical Documentations for the same & also through Project Management of various Technology Transfer projects between Production Units world-wide
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering with MBA preferable
At least 10 to 15 year experience in 3D Modelling & Concept design.
Experience in handling teams & projects
Minimum 8 years of work experience in manufacturing industry with design & implementation expertise on mechanical, hydraulic & electrical tools and equipment
Handled minimum 2 project management exercise domestic / overseas.
Competencies:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Techno-Commercial back-ground with ability to relate design & Technical/Process related solutions in the Industry to Cost.
Fluent in English (Oral & Written)
Proficient in MS Excel & Power point
Self-driven, proactive - take responsibility to ensure progress and results
Open and seek collaboration with team-members and engage proactively with Factory staff in each region across the globe.
Customer focused
Ability to manage with many different levels in the Organization
