Manager - Total Quality Management (12-20 yrs)
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement TQM systems for monitoring and improving quality performance in manufacturing operations.
2. Lead the quality assurance team in audits, inspections, and reviews to identify improvement areas and ensure compliance.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality goals and metrics aligned with organizational objectives.
4. Analyze data to identify quality trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for process optimization.
5. Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and improve product reliability.
6. Provide leadership and guidance to quality assurance personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
7. Develop and deliver training programs on quality management principles for employees.
8. Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality standards for incoming materials and monitor supplier performance.
9. Participate in customer meetings to address quality-related inquiries and feedback.
10. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
2. 12 to 18 years of experience in quality management roles within the automotive industry.
3. Strong knowledge of quality management principles and tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and PPAP.
4. Proven track record of implementing TQM systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
6. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
7. Experience in leading cross-functional teams and project management.
8. Knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements in the automotive industry.
This is a full-time position with a salary ranging from 12 to 15 lakhs per annum.
