Manager - Transport Management (3-8 yrs)
Position : Manager - Transportation
Job Location : Goregaon
Experience: 6-8 Years
Education : BE/ MBA
Industry : 3PL, FMCG, SPD, Auto - (Transportation ops)
Desired Candidate Profile :
Should have a reasonable knowledge in Transportation operation
1. Should have excellent communication skills, presentation skills, interpersonal skills & time management skills.
2. Should have excellent hands on working knowledge on MS Office tools (Excel & Power point presentation is a must)
3. Should have Good analytical ability (Analytical Mindset), Problem solving ability
4. Should have hands on knowledge in the field of Transportation & Control Tower operations
5. Should be certified Six sigma Green belt
6. Excellent understanding on TQM, Six Sigma, Lean etc.
7. Should have formal experience of imparting training in organizations and should have taken at least 50 + hours of training and 50 + participants
8. Should be a self-starter and business driver.
Job Description :
1. Support in Developing and driving Model transportation set up.
2. Hands on knowledge in the field of Transportation. Driving the Transportation Excellence (Inbound & Outbound)Tool Kit at various accounts.
3. Horizontally Deploying the best practices at other all Transportation Model operations,
4. Horizontally Deploy the best practice in the set-up of Control Tower operations,
5. Hands on experience for Operational Excellence activities leading to efficiency improvement in operations and Profitability
6. Support in Developing training modules for various type of transportation operations
7. Devise automated MIS for KPI performance management & improvement
8. Conducting trainings in the field of Quality Management - Kaizen, 5S, QC Story approach, 7 QC Tools etc.
9. Understanding of Quality Management system in organization. (Setting High level Process Flows diagrams and SOP's for organization etc.)
10. Conducting Trainings on systematic way of problem solving & QC tools - Team Formation, driving and mentoring teams for Project closure
11. Sound Knowledge about the operations in 3PL industry (Transportation, Warehouse and Stores & Linefeed activities).
12. Providing support for Branding activities for the dept.
13. Ability to work & deliver under pressure and excellent time management skills
