Manager - Vehicle Integration

- Lead in new vehicle design project.

- Vehicle architecture and freeze the specs as per the requirement.

- Integrate various sub-systems into vehicle assembly, maximising each sub-function while optimising for the overall product design

- Do the detail design and release drawing of Frame, Vehicle Layout, considering various requirements that include DFMEA, DFM, DFA, DFS, weight and cost optimisation.

- Integration of HDV & MDV with layout and support up to the end of lunching the project.

- All other design layout like Chassis, Frame, Body, BIW, Suspension, Fuel Tank etc, will be manage and maintain a complete vehicle layout.

- Overall layout packaging issues, time line management issue, etc will be feed to the top level management.

- Vehicle packaging to ensure vehicle level attributes by suitable selection of aggregates.

- Integrating the different aggregates of vehicle which will meet cost, weight and performance target as per Product Development System.

- Package feasibility.

- Variant investigations and benchmarking.

- Final designed product verification and validation.

- Vehicle component level design and system level

Prefarable

- Integration of vehicle components & creation of arrangement drawings.

- Integrating supplier parts on frame such as Engine, transmission parts, etc.

- Responsible for restructuring of assemblies.

- Responsible or making drawings, assemblies & part drawings.

- Design verification by CAE

- Support field Failure investigation

- Support validation trials.

- Conceptualization & development of new designs.

- Design for System / Sub-system / Component & its Integration on Vehicle - Schematics, Integration Layout, Packaging.

- Coordinate with Sub-functional and Support groups at all locations.

- Produce documentation for the design & managing the coordination activities.

Person Specification :

- B.Tech(Auto)/BE with good track record.

- 7- 12yrs of Vehicle integration and chassis frame design Experience in R&D in Heavy Commercial Vehicles

- Proficiency in CAD tools (UG,CATIA)

- Thorough knowledge on NPD process.

- Good interpersonal skills.

- Design for System / Sub-system / Component & its Integration on Vehicle - Schematics, Integration Layout, Packaging.

- Coordinate with Sub-functional and Support groups at all locations.

- Produce documentation for the design & managing the coordination activities

- Experience should be in concept design, 3D modeling & 2D drawing generation through Unigraphics mechanical Design software

- Knowlegde of DFMEA/DFA/DFM/DFS

- Knowledge of truck body engineering.

- Use of simulation software for frame analysis.

Salary:INR 7,00,000 - 13,00,000 P.A.
