Key Responsibilities :

Design & Development : Develop and refine mechanical designs for transformer components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and MEIL's quality benchmarks.

Manufacturing Support : Collaborate with the production team to translate designs into manufacturable products, providing technical support during the fabrication and assembly processes.

Quality Assurance : Conduct thorough testing and validation of mechanical components to ensure they meet performance, safety, and durability standards.

Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction without compromising on quality.

Documentation : Maintain detailed records of designs, modifications, and testing procedures to ensure traceability and compliance.

Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, quality assurance, and production staff, to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Experience : 2- 5 years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing, preferably in the transformer or power infrastructure industry.

Technical Skills : Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks), knowledge of manufacturing processes, and understanding of mechanical systems in electrical equipment.

Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.

Communication : Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Certifications : ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality management system experience is a plus.
