Manufacturing Analyst (Polyester Films)
Responsible for optimizing efficiency and productivity in the manufacturing process. Analysing production data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to streamline operations and reduce waste and collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain, to achieve these goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyse, and interpret manufacturing data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track manufacturing performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on manufacturing performance to management and stakeholders.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Develop and manage project plans for process improvement initiatives, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Analyse root causes of issues and develop solutions to address them, such as optimizing machine settings or improving material handling.
Qualification And Experience:
1. BE with 3-5 years with Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying and addressing issues in the manufacturing process.
2. Understanding of the polyester film manufacturing process and associated equipment is important.
3. Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or Six Sigma is a plus.
4. Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies is helpful.
5. Proficiency in data analysis software such as Excel, Tableau, or other statistical software is required.
6. Excellent communication skills are needed to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
7. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams is crucial.
