Manufacturing Cost Estimator (5-10 yrs)
Years of Experience: 5-7 Years for B.E / 7-10 years for Diploma
Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering with 5+years of experience OR Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Tool & Die making with 7+Years of experience
Mandatory Skills :
1. Exp in parts manufacturing & shop floor experience (Machined parts / Sheet metal/weldments and Frames)
2. Should have strong exposure to pre and post parts fabrication process (Heat treatment, Coating etc.)
3. Should have knowledge of estimating the cost of Machined parts / Sheet metal/weldments and Frames
4. Should have knowledge in dealing with Limit, Fit and Tolerances, GD&T, Metrology
Primary Responsibilities :
1. Responsible for estimating the machined metal parts manufacturing cost
2. Responsible for estimation parts assembly cost
3. Responsible for recommending cost-effective solutions for the designs
4. Responsible for internal prioritizing, task planning, coordination and execution day to day tasks
5. Interact with suppliers, OEM manufacturer to carry out day to day tasks
6. Responsible for proposing feature enhancements to the current process
7. Responsible for analyzing the Cost provided by supplier
