Manufacturing Engineer (5-10 yrs)
Core Responsibilities & Skills to look for
- Strong understanding of virtual build processes (automotive or similar industries, Semiconductor).
- Manufacturing background, preferably in assembly lines.
- Knowledge of MBOM and EBOM concepts.
- Conducting virtual builds for modules and purchased assemblies.
- Exposure to physical builds and assembly sequences (shop floor experience is a big plus).
- Process planning and work instruction creation (OMS).
- Familiarity with DFMA concepts ( DFMA understanding is required).
- Ability to work independently after initial onboarding (~3 months).
Tools & Software
- 3DEXPERIENCE platform knowledge is good to have.
- Experience with Delmia is an advantage but not mandatory (training will be provided).
- Other acceptable tools: Technomatics, EasyPlan, Teamcenter Visualization, or similar.
Additional Notes
- Digital Twin experience is not a priority currently (may be useful in future).
- Focus on conceptual understanding and physical build exposure rather than just simulation.
- Candidates from automotive (e.g., Caterpillar, GM, Tata Motors) or similar industries are preferred.
- Aerospace candidates often have simulation-heavy experience, which may not fully match requirements,
