Job description:

Skills : 

- Working knowledge of Assembly process planning tool, SAP - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge

- Background in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Production). - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.

- Knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance and facilities. 

- Performs more complex functions, understands principles, may teach others

- Understands the New Product Introductions.

 - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge

- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), VSM and Lean Tools 

- Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge

Position Specific Duties :

- Provides support and basic trouble shooting for current operations. Investigates, gathers and analyze data for specifically assigned, recurring tasks.

- Establishes routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs of limited scope.

- Identifies and implements cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas of limited scope.

- Works with electronic tools to perform engineering functions.

- Implements new manufacturing processes and technologies.

- Working experience of leading New product introductions in Virtual Manufacturing environment

Required Skills - Tools & Technologies :

- Hands on Experience in any Process planning tool

- Working experience of ERP Systems in Manufacturing Process Planning - SAP

- Working experience of Teamcenter Vis Mock Up; Creo.

- Working experience on New product development for any Construction/Agriculture equipment would be preferred

- Shall provide guidance and mentoring to teammates

- Project and Resource management skills

- Emerging Manufacturing Technologies
