Manufacturing Engineer/Process Engineering (10-12 yrs)
Job Summary :-
This position is responsible for Facilitate design and manufacturing of assembly lines for meeting the needed customer demand
And Facilitate design and manufacturing of End of Line Testing facility in consultation with customers and engineering resources for meeting the needed customer's quality requirements.
Experience Profile :-
10-12 yrs. post qualification experience.
- Proven experience in hard-core manufacturing engineering and Process engineering.
- Must have strong exposure to make the RFQ's of assembly line and end of line test with technologies on new product development activities.
- Experience in Industrial Engineering to set the assembly and end of line test.
- Experience in new product development of capital equipment's supplier negotiations skill for capital equipment's and timely execution of projects.
- Fixture and process design for assembly line in 3D model.
- Hand on experience on CNC & VMC.
- Lead Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma projects.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, waste, and cost.
- Improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and process capability.
- Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
- Prepare process flow charts, PFMEA, control plans, and work instructions.
Key Responsibilities :-
NPD :
- Quotation preparation of new assembly lines to the new business
- CEA Preparation as per business case with justification
- Prepare RFQ of assembly lines and end of test line
- Poka yokes skill to detect and prevent the defected parts on the line itself.
- Hydraulic circuits to understand the end of line test
- Line balance as per customer takt time
Production Support
- Identify the NVA's and optimum head count utilization for the shop floor.
- Documentation skill for PFMEA, Control Plan, PFD, Work instruction 8D
Academic Qualification :- BE - Mech / DME, Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field.
Accountability :-
- Zero defect generation from the assembly and test process
- Zero customer complaint from new assembly and test equipment- s
- No break down for new equipment's
- Process documentation
