Essence of Role - Key Accountabilities

Coordinating

- Ensure Manufacturing and Supply from CM as per production plan and foresee trends to align prodcution ramp up and slow down to optimise cost and inventory.

- Drive Production Scheduling for all contract manufacturing

- Co-ordination, Resolve and align priorities with vendors (Raw Material Suppliers, Packaging Material Suppliers and CM)to ensure production OTIF =100% min.95%

- Deep understanding of manufacturing process for technologies to ensure prodcution plan execution smoothness. (Deo, Talc, Soap, hair gels, Shampoo etc)

Colaboration and execution

- Ensure complete visibility of RM/PM inventory & Production Process

- Drive reconcilation of material to minimise write offs.

- Ensure timely RM/PM connectivity to manufacturing Site

- Implementation of ISO, TPM, 5 - S and other Best Manufacturing Practices at the 3rd Party Manufacturing site.

- Distribution of production program to third party manufacturers-

Poduction & cost efficiency & compliencies

- Monitor and improve Production Efficiency and drive COG reduction/Optimization.

- Vendor Performance Evaluation and Monitoring

- Drive Projects on Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), Electronic Data Interface (EDI) etc.

- Cost-reduction initiatives and implementation of recommendations

- Frequent visits/inspections at third party operations for maintaining quality standards

- Responsible to develop vendors according to given specifications of quality, cost and time

Reconcilation of payment & Material

- Develop and ensure smooth functioning of Production Planning Model.

- Coordinate withSupply Planning, Packaging Development and QA Team for smooth production of Regular SKUs and New Launches.

- Ensure timely payments to RM/PM Suppliers from Manufacturer and Timely Payments to Manufacturer from JKHC

- Monitor suppliers of Raw Material and Packaging Material as per given standards

- Supply of Institutional sales orders as per given timelines-

Qualifications :

Educational Qualifications - B.E./ MSC in chemistry (MBA in Operations)

Experience Required - 10-15 years in Manufacturing

Functional Skills Required -

- Ability to handle third party operators independently.

Influence to CM and vendors and internal stakeholders like marketing, planning

Desired Competencies / Behaviours :

- High level profencecy in Communication Skills and English language
