Manufacturing Manager - FMCG (6-12 yrs)
Manager - Manufacturing - Only Female
MAIN PURPOSE
-  To ensure that all processes related to manufacturing are carried out smoothly at the Plant to consistently provide finished product that meets the business (product availability & quality) and applicable statutory requirements.
-  To drive operational excellence processes in manufacturing (M&W/TPM/QMS/EMS) for continual improvement to move operations standards towards world class performance.
Key Challenges :
-  To keep the team motivated and aligned to company objectives given the IR vulnerability arising out on industrial growth in nearby area pushing cost of living.
-  To drive the PET preform yields through improvements in blow molder performance.
-  TPM / M&W / DW / ISO 14001 / ISO 22000 / ISO 18001 Implementation in manufacturing function
ACCOUNTABILITY : 
Business Agenda : 
-  Product Availability :
-  Production planning (SIP+MRP)and volume delivery as per agreed Demand compliance.
-  Optimize Line Productivity for the Manufacturing Lines
-  Integrated Quality - Ensure compliance to the PI / BU Guidelines and deliver standards on 3D  Quality, food safety in Manufacturing function / processes
-  Asset Care 
-  Drive autonomous maintenance process (Jishu Hozen)
-  Maintain over view of critical spares planning 
-  Support preventive maintenance planning and execution
-  Cost Effectiveness  
-  Production Productivity - Ensure manning to template to optimize Production Productivity
-  Direct Material Cost Usage Variance - Cost optimization on raw materials, packaging
By reducing wastages : 
-  VMOH Usage Variance -  Cost optimization on Utilities / C&C / Overtime / Variable Labor
-  Safety & Sustainability -  Maintenance and upkeep of Safety Standards on Shop floor. Drive the Manufacturing linked sustainability KPI -  Water usage / FO Usage / Bev Power 
People Agenda : 
-  Resource Planning & Recruitment 
-  Carry out people related activities -  resource planning for the seasonal manpower 
-  Support recruitment process for temporary manning as per seasonal capability model
-  Skill & Capability Building -  Drive the skill and capability building process for
-  Adequate pool of trained and competent person to man the manufacturing operations
-  Adequate bench strength through multi skilling.
-  Seasonal Capability Building for the large temporary manufacturing personnel
-  Engagement & Commitment
-  Drive the OPL and Kaizen processes under TPM
-  Support the R&R and Fun at Work agenda for people
-  Providing a healthy environment that encourages empowerment and diversity
-  Performance Management -To ensure that the performance management process is carried out for the people reporting to this role
SKILLS AND BEHAVIORAL ATTRIBUTES : 
-  Excellent communication, both written and verbal 
-  Negotiation skills & influencing ability

-  Strong focus on delivery and results with high drive and energy levels
-  Driving production performance and process improvement
-  Desirable if the person has prior experience of manufacturing excellence initiatives such as TPM
Qualification : B Tech / BE -  Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Production
