Manufacturing Operation Engineer (3-6 yrs)
As an Engineer in the team you will be responsible for :
- Leading mechanical engineering activities in a cross-functional team environment
- Build, test and refine prototypes
- DFM, DFA, physical testing and certification
- Identifying and coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and contract manufacturers
- Working with assembly house, designing jigs and fixtures and optimizing assembly speed
- Building quality guidelines and implementing strict quality adherence
- Budget management cost control and reduction
- Lean manufacturing, production planning, and scaling
- Warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain operations
- Continuous process improvement and identifying new technologies
Ideal candidate should have :
- Masters degree in a relevant field such as mechanical engineering or manufacturing or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years experience with manufacturing processes including Plastic injection molding, Compression rubber molding, Sheet metal, Extrusion, Die Casting, Machining, Anodization and Softgoods technologies
- Worked through the entire product development cycle with exposure of overseas manufacturing
- Experience in SolidWorks 3D modeling software
- Leadership, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Data-driven, analytical and result-oriented attitude
- Management skills to lead a team
- Driven to continuously learn and improve self
- Learn Chinese to coordinate with vendors
