Manufacturing Technician I (1-3 yrs)

Superior Group is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Tech for our client in Richardson, Texas.
Pay rate: 17/hr DOE
Hours: Standard M-F
Additional Info: Candidates must be US Citizens capable of obtaining a US DoD Clearance upon request.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate various solvent hoods, including spray hoods and wet chemical hoods
- Operate FTIR metrology tool.
- Operate Nanospec measurement tools.
- Ability to routinely use a microscope
- Hand polish sensitive materials, working with tight tolerances
- Responsibility to include thoughput and quality of these operations
- Interprets Process Flow Instructions and other written or verbal instructions
- Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule, within budget and to SPC standard practices.
- Recognize, communicate, and respond to process deviations and help identify root cause and corrective actions.
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills / Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience in wafer fab manufacturing
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Microscope capability.
- Computer literacy and mechanical inclination
- Work with chemicals and solvents
