Job description
- Design, develop and maintain electrical power/control systems to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability.
- Study and understand customers specifications / requirements.
- Design control panels. Knowledge of switchboards will be an added advantage.
- Preparation of general arrangement drawing, single line diagram, schematic drawings, bill of materials of PCC, MCC, Starters, etc.
- Facilitating technical discussion and getting approval of drawing data from customers.
- Co-ordination with vendors for component selection.
- Co-ordination with Purchase, Production and Quality Control departments.
- Timely delivering drawings / documents to customers.
A candidate must have sound knowledge of :
- Power and control schematics
- Electrical components and selection of switchgear
- Busbar size calculation and cable size calculation
- Mechanical assembly of electrical panels
Soft Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and time management skills
