Maruti - Injection Mold Design Engineer - Tool Design (3-6 yrs)
Job Description : For Tool Designing Role (Injection Mold):
Education:
- Degree / Diploma from CIPET/Tool & Die making from TRTC, DITE, NTTF, CITD, CTTC, NTTF etc.
- Degree in Mechanical/Production
Added Advantage : M.Tech (Tool Design) / Post graduate diploma in Tool and Die making
Job Role :
1) Independently handling Mold flow & cooling analysis (simulation) & mold design of big plastic parts like car bumper / Instrument panel
2) Know how of plastic part quality issues and injection mold process from machining, assembly & trials issues and to take countermeasures in design
Job Responsibilities :
CAE (mold flow simulation) :
1. Capability to do mold flow analysis and cooling analysis for big plastic car parts like Bumpers & Instrument panels
2. Capability of providing countermeasures for mold flow issues
3. Managing closure of all feedback with internal customers
Mold design :
1. Mold design for big parts like Bumper & Instrument panels
2. Knowledge of hot runner system in Mold
2. Ability to take countermeasures in design for issues in new mold development
Mold manufacturing :
1. Machining knowledge
2. Mold assembly & Trial knowledge
3. Inspection of mold at various stages of manufacturing
4. Trials & proving of Molds
Competencies / Skills :
- Desirable : Good knowledge of softwares UG NX, Autodesk Moldflow. Experience in Automobile OEM industry preferred
- Experience in Automobile OEM industry preferred
