- Implement strategies to enhance the circularity of materials used in our automotive manufacturing processes

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Design/R&D/Sourcing) to develop and execute initiatives aimed at increasing use of recycled content/low carbon alternatives and recycling of materials throughout the product lifecycle

- Stay abreast of emerging trends, market & peer best practices in terms of technologies, cost, scale & review of regulations/compliances related to sustainable materials and circular economy principles in the automotive industry

- Develop short-medium term strategies to promote material circularity within the value chain

- Lead cross-functional teams and projects focused on material circularity, providing guidance, support, and expertise to achieve objectives efficiently & effectively with alignment to business priorities & commitments

- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, recyclers, and other stakeholders to facilitate the sourcing and recovery of materials for reuse or recycling

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material circularity performance across all stages of the product lifecycle, from design and manufacturing to end-of-life disposal

- Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive environmental impact through innovative solutions

- Proven experience in materials management, sustainability, circular economy, or related field, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry

- Strong understanding of sustainable materials, recycling processes, and environmental regulations

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, understanding of lifecycle assessment process & tools and drive data-driven decision-making
