Material Planning/Material Management Professional - FMCG (7-10 yrs)
Responsible for the optimal level of RM and PM material at each unit, thereby ensuring production to plans. He is responsible for material procurement according to plan
Key Deliverables :
- Measurements/Performance Indicators
- Drive availability of RM/PM in factories in the region
- Raise Material issues from Clusters with the Category Buyers, Assist in Supply Review and weekly material checks
- Working with vendors to drive reliability and visibility
- Ensure correctness of SAP MRP through parameters/Stock Norms etc.
- Manage RM/PM Inventory levels in the Region including regular monitoring, Drive material constraint check during supply review for rolling 3 months
- Prioritization of Component availability in their Cluster for constrained availability from common Vendors.
- Work with Plant Materials/Category Buyers for Vendor MPOQs/Terms
- Tracking of POs raised by Plants against PRs raised and plugging gaps
- Raw Material Inventory (in days), Packaging Material Coverage, Vendor Scorecard, Vendor Scorecard, Sustainability Score
- Key Internal Stakeholders Regional Production Team, Factory Buyers, Strategic Buyers Key functional & business competencies
Competency Proficiency level :
Key Experience requirement is 6-10 Yrs. relevant operational experience at region/business level in at least one of the areas :
- Material planning/ Supply Planning
- Prior experience with SAP MRP preferred
- Proficient in Excel End-to-end Business Insight Medium
- Manage compliance & risk High
- Material Planning High
- Excel High
- Communication (verbal & written) Medium
