Role Overview

We are looking for an Automotive MBSE Lead to drive the adoption and execution of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices in client engagements. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in automotive embedded systems and a passion for structured, model driven product development.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and execute Systems Engineering and MBSE projects for automotive clients.

- Create, maintain, and review SysML-based models using tools like Cameo Systems Modeler, IBM Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect.

- Author and manage Systems Engineering artifacts such as requirements specifications, architecture documents, and interface definitions.

- Drive Requirements Engineering and E/E architecture development efforts.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and wiring harness engineers.

- Mentor and guide junior MBSE engineers in methodology and tool usage.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechatronics, or Electronics engineering.

- 8+ years of experience in automotive E/E embedded systems product development.

- Strong understanding of the V-model, product development lifecycle, and automotive standards.

- Hands-on experience with ASPICE and Functional Safety (ISO 26262).

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.

- Fluent in written and spoken English.

- Willingness to travel and learn new methodologies/tools.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

- Hands-on experience with MBSE tools (Cameo, Rhapsody, EA, PREEvision etc).

- Exposure to ALM, PLM and Requirements Management tools.

- Familiarity with Cybersecurity standards (ISO 21434).

- Programming/scripting knowledge (e.g., JavaScript, Python) is a plus.

- Understanding of INCOSE (15288) SE processes (e.g., configuration management, variant management, verification & validation etc).

- Prior consulting experience in systems engineering.

- Project Planning skills added advantage
