Company : A Leading Manufacturer of Car Air-Conditioning System

Designation : Mechanical Design Engineer/Leader

Experience Required : 2-8 Yrs

Remuneration : As per market standards

Qualification : B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical

Reports To : Engineering R&D Head

Basic Function :

Experience in product design for Electro-Mechanical Systems (e.g. HVAC components and Systems, Heat Exchangers, Battery Pack Cooling System (BCS), Traction Cooling System (TCS), motor, pump, ECU etc.).

Job Responsibilities :

- Good fundamentals in concept development and design principles/methods

- Proficient in hand calculation

- Strong in 3D Modelling and Modelling software (e.g. CATIA)

- Strong in concept development

- Design and develop die-cast, sheet metal and plastic parts/components/systems that involves fluid (air or liquid) movement.

- Proficient in Design for Reliability (load vs. stress vs. strength)

- Strong in GD&T

- Proficient in material properties and selection

- Design for Manufacturability (DfM)

- Perform DFMEA and DFMA and familiar with associates tools

- Release of drawing to customers and suppliers .

- Product Life Cycle Management (PLM).

- Proficient in Product Engineering.

- Good orientation on simulation, testing and validation

- Familiar with aging or degradation laws of materials, components and systems.

- Familiar with durability/endurance validation standards (e.g. SAE/ISO/IEC/DIN etc.)

- Collaboration with project leader, reliability engineer, simulation engineer and customer.

- Participate in Failure and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

- Good experience with customer interaction/handling.

- Team Player and Collaborative.

- Train less experienced Associates.

- Proactive, take initiatives, possess good. communication & interpersonal skills.

Salary: INR 3,00,000 - 8,00,000 P.A.
