Mechanical Design Engineer (3-5 yrs)
Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, Masters is preferred (M.Tech)
- 3 to 5 Years of work experience in Mechanical Engineering Design
Responsibilities :
- Should have experience (or) knowledge of design various parts of the engine, complicated mechanisms, welded parts, construction equipment and heavy-duty equipment, etc.
- Experience (or) knowledge in hydraulic or electric systems will be an additional advantage
- Good understanding of materials and manufacturing process
- Capable of doing design calculations
- Knowledge of 2D and 3D modelling
- Managing the design release process via PDM, PLM process
- Responsible for Engineering file documentation and ISO Audits
- Conduct root cause analysis for current issues and provide long term solutions to reduce the number of failures per machine
- Driving continued improvement process of existing products through quality improvement, cost reduction, ease of manufacturing & reliability and ideate for research and development
- Manage cost reduction initiatives for improvement through product re-design of existing products
- Support the Technical Service Team for the implementation of the designs on the vehicle and provide production support.
- Should have excellent communication
