Mechanical Design Engineer - 3D Modeling (5-8 yrs)
Job Description :
- Receive and study the input. Understand the requirement and plan the work accordingly, ensuring on time delivery with maximum quality and efficiency
- Preparation of 2D drawings and 3D models in Creo/windchill, Performing BOM changes and CNs using Team centre
- Generate concepts, perform engineering calculations, make detailed design and select components from suppliers.
- Maintain effective and timely communication with customers and stakeholders
- Stay sharp towards acquiring new and maintaining existing competencies
- Bring in synergy in the team by sharing and learning
- Addressing customer questions and troubleshooting problems
- Reporting to Manager/Team Lead in a timely and efficient manner
- Comply with company policies and follow company values and business code of practice
Desired Knowledge/Experience :
- Hands on Experience in 3d CAD modelling & 2d drawing creation
- Creo, windchill & Team center
- Good understanding of GD&T and Tolerances
- Strong foundation in engineering basics, design calculations and validations
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
- Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical structural design, and heavy machinery products
- Familiarity of New Product Development and engineering CN release process
- Knowledge of mechanisms, strength of materials, FEA analysis etc
