Mechanical Design Engineer - Construction Industries (1-4 yrs)
Mechanical Design Engineer .
Position Name : Mechanical Design Engineer
Experience : 1 to 5 yrs
Technical Expertise : AutoCAD (Must), experience in Revit will be an added benefit
Qualification : Diploma/ B.E/B.tech - Mechanical .(Must)
Candidate should have experience in working with Building / Construction Industries.
Candidate with HVAC : Cooling system/Piping/Firefighting Protection Experience required .
Job Description :
- Must be able to design and document building HVAC systems for a wide variety of projects in a detailed and comprehensive manner.
- Design tasks include preparing construction plans, calculating HVAC loads, reviewing codes, specifying, sizing and laying out HVAC equipment, performing energy studies, indicating HVAC rough-in provisions, writing specifications, reviewing submittals, making jobsite visits, writing reports, and other tasks.
- Preparation of BOQ
- Understanding of the Contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, MEP systems interrelationships, construction sequencing and project schedule
- Validate design issues related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions
- Identify problems in the design, planning, manage and delivering multiple projects.
- Where required, prepare technical clarifications to the tendered design to suit specific on-site construction and coordination issues.
