Mechanical Design Engineer - SolidWorks/CAD (0-5 yrs)
The suitable requirements are :
- Graduated engineer in mechanical engineering with appropriate professional experience for the position.
- Independent and responsible work, communication and team skills
- Knowledge of CAD, primarily SolidWorks
- FEM knowledge advantageous
- Familiar handling of MS Office applications
- English spoken and written skills
- Team work & interpersonal skills, pro-activeness
- DME / B.E., Mechanical Engineering is a must
- Ability to analyze data and situation and come up with creative solutions.
- Knowledge of industry, engineering, math, and materials
- Read and understand 2D and 3D drawings
- Receive design input from concerned product designer or product development manager or project leader
- Estimate activity lead time and discuss with reporting manager or head of engineering design
- Prepare activity plan for design/drawing release activities to achieve target timelines of project
- Prepare 3D modeling considering manufacturing feasibility and release manufacturing drawings for new development
- Reverse engineering of existing parts and prepare 3D model for localization projects
- Review design with reporting manager and update 3D models/Drawings
- Release manufacturing drawings for development and regular production
- Maintain drawing archival system and revision control system for manufacturing drawings in computer server
