Mechanical Engineer - Fasteners (3-10 yrs)
Position Name: Engineer (Mechanical)
Location: Shankarampet R, Chegunta, Medak district
Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/Production/Industrial
Experience: 3- 5 Years
Job Purpose :
To ensure smooth operation, maintenance, and reliability of production machinery and utility systems in the fasteners manufacturing plant by performing preventive and breakdown maintenance, improving equipment performance, and ensuring safety and documentation compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintenance Operations
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machines.
- Ensure minimum downtime of equipment.
- Monitor machine performance and suggest improvements.
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems efficiently.
2. Machine & Utility Management
- Handle basic machine operations and troubleshooting.
- Maintain utilities such as compressors, air systems, cooling systems, etc.
- Ensure proper functioning of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Monitor and improve MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
3. Root Cause & Performance Improvement
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring breakdowns.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Work towards continuous improvement of equipment reliability.
4. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to plant safety standards and procedures.
- Follow all safety guidelines during maintenance activities.
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain maintenance logs, reports, and equipment history records.
- Prepare breakdown analysis reports.
- Update preventive maintenance schedules and checklists.
