Mechanical Engineer - Piping & HVAC/Fire Fighting (7-10 yrs)
Job Description :
1. Detail Engineering, reviewing of piping, drawing and preparation of shop drawings including isometric drawing, support drawings and coordination with other services.
2. To study drawings and specifications of pumps & HVAC System, preparation of Deliverables like equipment layout plans, shop drawings, technical datasheets (TDS), Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and their approval from Client/ Consultants.
3. To prepare Material Requisitions (MR) and getting quotations from market and assist purchase team in ordering.
4. To interact with suppliers for getting quotes, technical submittals and negotiating rates etc.
5. Executing of assigned work in accordance with applicable Client and Project Specifications, Standards and approved drawings.
6. To effectively represent Company in meetings with Clients, Consultants and various vendors etc. and implementing Company Policy of quality, reliability and customer satisfaction.
Job Specifications/Requirements :
1. B.E./B. Tech (Mechanical) from reputed institution.
2. 7-10 years of relevant experience in the field of Contracting OR Consultancy OR EPC Company.
3. Team player with pleasant personality and good communication & presentation skills (verbal and written)
4. Shall be familiar and acquainted with common EPC, Work Processes, Supply Chain and other construction methods including successful handing over of project to Client.
5. Good knowledge of fabrication, use of material, test and inspection of pipes and piping system.
6. Good knowledge and information of vendors and suppliers shall be an added advantage.
