Mechanical Lead Engineer - Non Standard Requests (12-15 yrs)

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum 12 exp. Or Masters in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum 10 Yrs Exp.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Successful assessment of impact on the product variations due to engineering solutions provided to NSR- s

- (Non-standard Requests), Problem reports (including Engineering deviations), Change Order implementation.

- Participate in the change review board discussions and communicate the impact of change on the product. Work with the QA groups within Org for NCE/NCI management and resolutions

- Decide on the product structuring (Product architecture management) and decide the required feature Cut-in

Strategies

- Evaluation of existing engineering business processes, identifying gaps, and recommending new process initiatives.

- Provide technical guidance and expertise for the execution of the solutions to the junior engineers in the team Approvals/Signoff authority for continuous improvement projects

- Collaboration with cross functional teams to develop robust design solutions that ensure functionality, safety, manufacturability, serviceability, cost advantage, etc.

- Being accountable for delivering on time with quality and monitor, track and improve Engineering KPIs.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the product roadmap

- Mandatory skills and experience required to perform the job:

- Expertise in product structuring and configuration management

- Expertise in Engineering change management of complex mechanical and electromechanical systems. Project/Priority management of customer escalations

- Experience in NSR/Custom Configuration based on Customer requirements

- Working experience of PDR process and PLM, SAP and CAD tools

- Deviation requests from suppliers and manufacturing

- Ability to drive CAPA projects to closure

- Demonstrated strong Problem Solving and Decision-Making ability by applying structured process or tools such as 8Ds, Fishbone, 5 Whys, Pugh matrix, Pareto chart, etc.

Desirable Skill:

- Experience in Semiconductor Wafer Fab Equipment (WFE) domain

- Order BOM Management and Configuration management exposure

- Understanding of piping and Instrumentation diagrams

- OB program management exposure
