Job Description :

We are currently seeking a hands-on mechanical maintenance engineer candidate will with a well-rounded background. The individual will be an integral member of a small team of ten employees that operate a PCC production facility on a 24/7 basis. The job will consist of:

- Working as part of a team of skilled operators and maintenance personnel to ensure a continuous supply of high-quality PCC to our customers. The team is being trained to be self-directed and perform at a high level in all aspects of manufacturing including safety, quality, preventative maintenance, and lean initiatives.

- Performing preventive maintenance, suggest safety and process improvements and participate in plant repairs.

- Following work instructions and preventive maintenance procedures.

- Following and implementing the principles of 5S, Standard Work, Daily Management and Problem Solving.

- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Able to put personal and co-worker safety first, adhering to SMI Safety Policies and local regulatory requirements for all routine and non-routine tasks.

- Diploma/bachelor's degree in field of mechanical with minimum 5 years of experience in continuous production /process plant.

- Knowledge of operation and maintenance of centrifugal pumps, gearboxes, blowers, pneumatic valves, agitators, air compressors are required.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to speak, read and write Hindi and English.

- Well organized, trustworthy individual that can perform at a high level with minimal supervision.

- PC skills such as Windows Word, Excel, etc are a must.

- Desired knowledge of 5 S, Operational Excellence & Lean manufacturing concepts,
