Mechatronics Engineer
Role Overview:
We're looking for Mechatronics Engineers who thrive at the intersection of mechanical design, electronics, and creative technology. You- ll help turn ambitious interactive ideas into reality - designing moving systems, prototyping mechanisms, and building the hardware that drives our installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical and electromechanical systems for interactive installations.
- Develop 3D models and shop drawings using SolidWorks, Solid Edge, or Fusion 360.
- Integrate electronics and control systems (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, PLC).
- Collaborate with designers and Unreal developers on interactive prototypes.
- Assist in prototyping, testing, and assembling mechatronic systems.
- Support installation and maintenance on-site.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 1- 3 years of experience in mechatronic design.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or Solid Edge; familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Hands-on experience with Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
- Strong practical and troubleshooting mindset.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Familiarity with PLC systems or automation.
- Knowledge of fabrication techniques or CNC workflows.
- Interest in creative technology and interactive art.
