Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer with specialized expertise in HVAC execution for large-scale construction projects, particularly high-end hotel developments. The ideal candidate will oversee all HVAC execution activities, ensuring high standards of quality, timely delivery, and compliance with international standards. This role demands coordination across multiple disciplines, technical supervision on-site, and a deep understanding of mechanical systems in hospitality projects.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. HVAC Execution & Supervision:

- Plan, execute, and monitor HVAC works including chillers, AHUs, VRV/VRF systems, ducting, insulation, and BMS integration.

- Review HVAC shop drawings, design specifications, and ensure proper execution as per hotel project standards.

- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of all HVAC components.

2. Project Coordination:

- Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and plumbing teams to ensure seamless MEP integration.

- Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and specialist vendors for design validation and work execution.

- Attend site coordination meetings and resolve execution-related technical issues.

3. Quality Assurance & Compliance:

- Ensure work execution complies with ASHRAE, SMACNA, and other international codes/standards.

- Conduct quality checks, method statement reviews, and ensure adherence to approved materials and specifications.

- Maintain safety and compliance with local building regulations.

4. Planning & Scheduling:

- Prepare and monitor execution schedules in line with overall project timelines.

- Track progress against milestones and ensure timely completion of HVAC-related activities.

- Report on delays, risks, and develop mitigation plans.

5. Documentation & Reporting:

- Maintain detailed records of work progress, material inventory, test reports, and installation logs.

- Submit daily/weekly progress reports and coordinate with billing engineers for MEP measurement validations.

- Support procurement with technical inputs and equipment selection.

Skills Required:

- Strong technical knowledge in HVAC systems for large-scale buildings, especially luxury hotels or hospitality projects.

- Hands-on experience with VRF/VRV systems, central chilled water plants, ducting systems, and building automation (BMS).

- Proficient in AutoCAD, HVAC design software (like HAP, Duct Sizer), and MS Project or Primavera.

- Strong leadership and communication skills for team and contractor management.

- Ability to resolve complex site issues with a solution-oriented mindset.
