Position: MEP Electrical Costing and Estimation Specialist
Location: Thane
Job Description:
MEP Electrical Costing and Estimation Specialist to join our office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Concept/schematic costing
- Quantity take-off
- BOQ preparation
- Bill certification
- Analyzing and estimating costs
- Rate analysis for electrical and ELV (MEP) systems for construction projects
- Tender management
The candidate will collaborate with project teams to develop budgets, provide recommendations for cost savings, and ensure quality, safety standards, and client requirements are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5-6 years of experience in MEP Electrical engineering and cost estimation
Technical Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of building codes, market rates, and regulations
- Relevant experience with conceptual and detailed cost estimation and proposal preparation
- Proficient in CAD software and MS Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Soft Skills:
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a plus
- Ability to work in a team environment
