We have an urgent job opening for the position of Metallurgist for heat treatment process at Ranipet location. Only Diploma or BE in Metallurgy with 8-10 Years in Heat treatment process Experience need apply.
Job description :
- Good expertise in handling metallurgy lab equipment's (microscope / hardness testers/mould preparation / micro analysis)
- Knowledge in material (C45 /S48C/ Enl9 / EN8D /42CrMo4 / SG iron 450/600)
- Induction hardening process knowledge & Validation.
- Induction hardening process setup & Approval.
- Coil maintenance
- Heat treatment risk analysis
- Tempering process knowledge
- Tempering validation
- CQI 9 / CQI 27 experience and process assessment
- Root cause analysis for heat treatment process
- Failure analysis for field failure cases
- Ferritic nitrocarburizing process knowledge
- Mn coating process knowledge
- Normalizing process knowledge
- Case hardening process knowledge
- DLC coating process
