Essential Job Functions :
- Provide quality maintenance and repair of Sharp, Canon, HP and Muratec MFPs and printers in a specific territory of assigned machines to ensure equipment reliability.
- Responsible for the general maintenance, up keep and repair of all printing presses/slitters in Printing Dept.
- Evaluates and recommends manufacturing processes for OEE of this equipment.
- Personally implements or supervises that Machine Maintenance Functions of this equipment.
- Develop and maintain a reliable source of external providers for Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Machining, etc. needs when required.
- Develop and maintain suitable purchasing arrangements for commodities required for maintenance and repair of this equipment.
- Communicate and drive ideas and a positive culture.
- Position requires being a liaison between all departments required to support identified efforts.
- To coordinate all aspects of Health, Safety and Fire Safety in the area of responsibility.
- Actively seek to determine internal and external customer requirements in area of responsibility and whenever possible, exceed their needs.
- Take ownership in area of responsibility for the business and improvements which will result in increased income and/ or reduces costs.
- Develop and maintain an on- hand maintenance/ replacement parts system.
- Develop and maintain an on- hand maintenance/ replacement parts storage system
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Able to follow, and/ or improve, current approved company Maintenance and Personnel Procedures. Implement personally and/ or supervise complex maintenance and repair tasks.
Interface with the following departments as required: Technical, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Inspection, Sales and Marketing. Utilize principles and practices of employee supervision, including work planning, assignment and review and the training of staff in work procedures
