Motor Electrical Design Professional - ePowertrain (5-9 yrs)

Joining time / Notice Period: Immediate - 90 Days.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Electric design of Motor & Electromagnetic analysis using Ansys Motor CAD, Maxwell & Speed software Develops methods to improve electric machines through improved material and design algorithms.


- Keep track of global trends in relevant technology, identification, adaptation, and implementation of new Technology & regulations. 


- Testing and validation of electric machines as per relevant standards Benchmarking and generation of ideas for better performance, Quality, Cost and weight Ability to solve electrical design problems. Responsible for PMSM/ BLDC/ SRM/ Induction/ PMDC Motor Electrical design & development for EV applications and for other special applications. 


- Thermal analysis of motor & applying different methods of cooling motor Prototype building, providing concept design and guide for motor winding.

EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION:

- University degree in Electrical Engineering

- 7-10 Years of Design experience in Electric motor industry

KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE:

- Experience in the design of electrical machines and knowledge of electrical Vehicle drive train

- Experience with FE tools for E-mag design, preferably Ansys Motor CAD, Maxwell 2D/3D or Speed software

- Domain knowledge of PMSM, BLDC, SRM & Induction Motors design and development for 2W/ 3W EV Applications

- Passion for electric machines, drivetrains, and E-mobility

- Knowledge of winding techniques, Magnetic materials, and Motor assembly.

- Knowledge of different control strategies used for BLDC and PMSM Motors

- Flexible to travel as per business needs

- Working experience and knowledge of NEMA, IEC Frame - 1Ph & 3Ph Motors
