Job Description :
- Strong Experience in Direct Sourcing of Chemicals, Additives.
- Able to Procure Raw Material at most competitive price to support price positioning of Finished Goods.
- Monitor Prices of Key Raw Materials on monthly basis to ascertain the correct cost.
- Ability to undertake VAVE, Cost reduction projects.
- Ability to add and develop the new cost effective sources for existing products.
- Able to introduce new solutions, parts and Vendors.
- Able to do long term planning of procurement & sourcing aligned to the business strategy.
- Ability to analyze the supplier performance for Quality, Capacity, Delivery & Cost.
- Able to create competition between vendors for price benefit to company. (Strategic Competitive Pricing)
- Undertake Negotiation Strategies like tendering, RFQ from multiple vendors for costs comparisons.
- Able to link function's financial performance aligned with organization's P& L
- Able to use above knowledge during the negotiation with suppliers to create a profitable deal / price.
