New Product Development Engineer (2-5 yrs)
Qualification : M.Tech -Mechanical
EXPECTED END RESULTS MAJOR ACTIVITIES :
- Part of New Product Development (NPD)vertical in Engineering.
- Maintain strong CAD expertise in 3D modelling which is basis of any product design in company.
- Knowledge of Advance surface modelling on CREO, Plastic design, Engineering materials and understanding of company products.
- Must have handled or worked on complete NPD (New Product Development) cycle - from Kick-off till Product launch
- Product Development tool knowledge like DFMEAs, Design standards, Design Checklist, Qualification test plan, Verification test plan, PPAP, DFM, DFE, Mold flow analysis, Structural simulation analysis
- Plastic part design, Injection molding process, Inj. molding tool design, Advance technologies in Inj. Molding
- Other manufacturing process like Casting, machining, Sheet metal operations, etc
- Work experience in a profile which involved extensive interaction with internal customers like Manufacturing, Product Marketing, Sourcing, Quality, etc
- Preparation of CAD models, assemblies, drawings, and documentation needed to define the product design.
- Manpower planning, resource allotment, Project budgeting, Project review presentations, NPD Team reviews
- Working knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack up
- Product Packaging development, Electronic product development exp. will be an advantage
- Prototyping knowledge and experience- all technologies available
- ECN and ECN Management
- Experience in handling global projects
